Jeans!! Argh, I want to engage in a days worth of denim browsing. Plenty of items on my to-do list. I want new jeans for the upcoming season, NOW. So it's winter here. Bitter, decadent skies and breathless mornings. Though I love winter fashion, I’m not sure how I feel about waking up every morning, reluctant to change into day-wear. Something about floral dresses, topped with leather jackets and opaque black stockings provides me enough motivation to sense spring is just around the corner. But more so the fact that the only flowers I’ll be seeing on a day-to-day basis are on my silk, floral garments, printed in resemblance to the blossoms yet to come.

Ps: thanks to all the lovely bloggers wishing me luck for my exams. I'll go wild with blogging soon after I've finished my 3 exams in less than two weeks. I better commence studying in the meantime!

Oh and I've gone wild on spending this month, I figured since it's freezing and I need prompt-motivation to reward myself on how I've managed to pull through anothet Semester.. A quick update before I hop into bed! Having been heavily consumed in my busy schedule with Uni creeping upon Week 4 .. ALREADY and part-time work followed by a handful of catching up with friends, birthdays, and the new boy. I'm mentally and physically exhausted once again. Where's that holiday when I need one. Thank god, the Easter Break is just around the corner again. But then too bad it only lasts 1 week.

I hate to be whinging all over again - I need to look for another job :) I just obtained my perfect interview-worthy attire. A sleek, dark navy, small bell sleeved above the knee sheath dress cinched with a matching belt akin to Rouland Mouret (ok fine, no where near that extravagant but with my current budget it passes) I'm still searching high and low for that internship. Not that I've given 110% effort especially in admist the economic crisis, I'm at least trying. And to top it off, my 'wish-list' continues to grow - in contrary to my current income. Bad idea huh?

Yes, that's what I keep telling myself. That the Marchesa inspired, gold trimmed butterfly sleeved mini dress is not a must-have. And the same goes to the Antipodium black zipper mini with customised silver chains that I have trouble getting into...let alone out.

So since Uni commenced on Monday, I've been horrified at the state of my wardrobe. Blatantly speaking, not very 'uni-esque'.

I've been wearing bandage singlet dresses in grey and black with black tights and black ballet flats. Toting around a black, flat tote and additional cream, long scarves to polish the look. I haven't been too fussed (not that I'm ever fussed with uni attire, I'm just thankful when my hair is clean) especially with the unpredictable yo-yo weather headed daily, it's been a day of singlets and denim cutoffs and a day of black blazers, tights, minis and plain tees.

Monday lectures are the hardest, 9am... I always sleep in. It's been hell trying to head back to the morning start cycle. With abundant V bottles and my love for mochas and iced coffee keeps me pumped to get through the day.

Yesterday I went on a Mag spree, bought 5 mags to keep me pre-occupied and today I bought all the textbooks I needed for my courses this semester. I'm looking forward to the Zimmermann sale tomorrow. I'm dragging the boy with me since the location is unheard of. Oh Zimmermann, I cannot wait.

Ahh. I would have guessed. But who knew Gorman Winter 09 would produce yet another leather masterpiece.

Today I rushed into David Jones during my much anticipated lunch break. Though they didn't have my size, I tried the jacket on regardless.

A few tosses and turns around the distilled mirror. It almost screams back in delight.

The leather simply melts onto your skin. The colour, a staple. The shape? Morphs to your body like no other.

Clearly bewildered in spite of the just under $1000 price tag. I leave the store with the only thing in mind.

Gee. Been a while since my last update. (I've missed you guys!) I think the term 'busy' itself is insufficient to describe how I've spent my weeks. But it's all smooth sailing besides an amass of changes along the way and the fact I've missed out on the virtual world - quite specifically, blogging itself. To my suprise I didn't realise my last update was almost a month ago until one of my best friends mentioned the fact my blog has been left untouched for quite some time now.

So Sydney's undergoing an array of weather modifications in the past few days, from scorching days to glacial winter chills. These noticeable changes have heightened my focus on winter clothing. I've realised we're headed towards autumn already. Besides the half packaged/summer stock, the winter wardrobe screams 'black, black and more black. Maybe a sprinkle of grey here and there oh and cream too...but mainly black'.

This dominating colour, having partially filled 70% of my wardrobe will surely be thrown into the spotlight in the short run. I'm a sucker for LBDs and nothing beats glossed-up Louboutin ankle booties, raised hemlines (daring) and a coat pretty enough to make you melt (literally).

Joops's A/W 09 is highlighted with blunt fringes, straight hair, and superlative palettes of winter styling. Heels adorned with height you've never imagined possible yet you wouldn't think twice about the audacity of your purchase. PVC skinny legs, black leather pants, subtle sequins adorned in reflective darkness and studs are known to surely bring out that relaxed, edgy and coolness you've longed to render.

Many say Kerr's style is simply plain yet she pulls it off as 'ultra-stylish' simply due to her amazing body however I disagree by believing she's got her own style. Whether it's basic singlets, black heels and the endless amount of skinny denim she hangs in her closet or the unforgettable black blazer she wears at an ever consistent rate. Kerr is beautiful. Simple, elegant and always stylish. I love how the the couple both dress alike, accompanying eachother at a recurrent basis parading in unbounded supplies of black.

2009 is going to be LOVE!

So excited not to mention how startled I am that time really flies. This year, especially flew right past me. Some of 08's resolutions were achieved and some hardly mingled upon. Yet I don't feel so terrible about myself considering the perfectionist that I am. I actually feel I achieved almost to my satisfactory level - yet just a little short. But that makes me work harder towards everything, in any aspect every year.

Honestly, I haven't even thought about New Years Resolutions, perhaps due to my somnolent state that I have been for the previous 2 weeks due to work fatigue and endless partying after work I am physically and mentally drained.

New Years Eve, though overrated was lovely and New Years day, despite some hiccups here and there was spent at the beach followed by another long, restless night. Then of course work comes calling when least expected at 9am in the morning, far from work-worthy attire - I was wearing DIY denim cut-offs (cut a little too short, almost like those Wrangler high waisted denim shorts on the ad featuring the butt and the butt only to my nightmare) and a multi-coloured oversized Something singlet that revealed my black, lacey Pleasure State bra with gladiator flats and a bag consisting mostly of beach paraphernalia.

Brilliant.

But despite it all, it's been fantastic - today I've cancelled most plans to tidy the house, and my room to be frank - days without cleaning, the clothes, books and mags are in morbid condition in need of a good dust. Tomorrow will be followed by shopping with my dad and dinner with my girlfriend. Then comes camp from the 5th to the 8th.

I always stay on track with everything I do, some things in life are much more gratifying, planned.

Having said that, I only just realised she's on the new show The City (I haven't seen a single episode yet - I was never made aware of when it airs).

(I love black, Hana certainly proclaimed it loud and clear as evident in her outfits (I'd roughly estimate 92% of the times). But I also love maxi dresses, I've found myself trying lots on lately but haven't seemed to find the perfect one! They say you have to be tall to pull off this floor sweeping look. Sorry for the lack of updates/laziness recently, I haven't had a chance to reply to the comments and check out all your lovely sites like I normally would. Besides been preoccupied with catching up with friends, seeing the boyfriend, and working - I've found myself stripped from any spare time whatsoever. Oh how I missed posting and reading all the beautiful blogs!

In the short amount of time that I have on my hands right now, I have to go to bed since I have to wake up at 8am tomorrow morning. Sucks to be me right now hey? I'm so sleep deprived, I had work today and could barely stay awake!

Oh and of course the Boxing Day sales..who can forget those! Sadly I was working but I managed to have a quick browse before work and bought...

Hmm.. something else but i can't quite remember right now. But I might pop in tomorrow and buy some Ksubi or Superfine jeans I've been eyeing for the past week.

Oh and I just purchased a massive TV today too, maybe I'm cursed but technology always seems to fail around me - my TV right now after only 3 years has changed to a wierd, off - yellow/orange tone. I rant so much!

Russh Jan/Feb 09 Issue. Oh I can't hide my excitement. I'm so lame, I know - but I have a mag obsession where prior/on the day of release I remain in a positively fanatic state where I can't hide my enjoyment and the only thing on my mind is the wonders of crawling back into my bed with a few issues of my fave magazines piled up.

The smell of the newbies, almost as good as a pair of Bally heels. Which I have been eyeing for the past week now. Due to my failure to get my hands on the round toed, M by MJ patent pumps in nude or black. I came across these Bally ones the other day and my heart skipped. It was exactly what I'm looking for. I cringe at the thought that almost all of my pay would go to the creation if I were to take them home with me.

So has everyone finished Christmas shopping? I don't understand why the shopping centres are open til 12 Midnight lately, how absurd is it to think we would go shopping then, I guess besides the few benefits of parking and shorter queue ups, it's understandable.

I'm going on a road trip (precisely camping) next week, for 3 days only. I went last year to the same place and came back all bronzed and healthy. I haven't been getting enough of the beach, perhaps due to my bikini splurging obsession right now (I just bought a few more, A black Mambo one 2 days ago... It's cheap but I love their designs - the frilly ones and the printed ones are too cute to resist - but as luck would have it they didn't have a 6 or an 8. So I ended up with a plain black one with gold trimmings/drawstrings).

Got to go, new day awaits - I'm going to finish off the easiest part of my X'mas shopping - buying chocolates. Yum.

Oh the weather is pretty descent today as well, beach, beach, beach. But no, that can wait.

The new H & M issue.

Yep, you probably guessed it - no H & M in Australia. As wierd as it sounds, I sometimes find myself mindlessly staring at prev H & M campaigns while pondering what the actual attires are like...the fabric, the texture, the cut, the feel, the make...the entire lot. Due to the absence of owning a single piece of H & M clothing - I wonder if it is really that affordable and well-made. I think I like Zara better though, in comparison only.

I'm not so sure if everyone is familiar with Seafolly but for those familiar with it, what do we think of the bathers? I think the campaign has gained wide recognition featuring Catherine McNeil but the actual swimwear itself is pretty normal for my liking. Am I being too critical?

2nd Dress: Far from Winter now, but this Stella McCartney wool jersey belted dress is a beauty.

1st Top: I'm pretty into Stella, I've just realised. This silk jersey top/dress fits perfectly in my mood for matted neutrals right now.

2nd Jacket: Ahh, it's Mike and Chris. Overrated much? But I want this leather badly nevertheless.

1st Skirt: Fendi Honey Comb knitted skirt. Edgy but a perfect interesting mix of Winter attire.

2nd Dress: herve Leger bandage sequin mini dress. I would keep this forever sparkling.
